Designated for the hot production of passenger vehicles disk brake pads, with or without under-layer.
The 4-cavities configuration is ideal for the production of small size pads, while with the 2-cavities configuration it is possible to produce a wide range of pads.
The classic layout includes a maximum of 12 presses and 8 weighing systems arranged on 4 lines.

How to calculate the productivity based on the presses number, the number of mould cavities and the curing time:
PN*(3600/(CT+60))*CN
PN=number of presses
CT=curing time (s)
CN=number of cavities (2 or 4)
Example
Production with 12 presses, 4 cavities moulds and 2 minutes cure time: 12*(3600/(120+60))*4=960 pcs/hour.
